Two of my all-time favourites to instantly lift your cooking — Harissa Paste and Za’atar. Think rich, bold flavours that make everything from meats and roast veggies to eggs, salads and snacks taste incredible.
Harissa —The ultimate flavour bomb. This rich red paste is predominantly made up of the 5 C’s - capsicum, chilli, cumin, coriander and caraway. My version adds a little bit of chipotle chillies for that subtle smokey chilli vibe. I make this paste punchy enough to give your dishes that extra flavour bomb it needs while not too much so that you can also use it as a condiment/sauce replacement alongside scrambled eggs, nacho’s, avocado toast etc

Instead of chutney/sauce
Marinating chicken to roast or stir-fry
A roast vegetable marinade
Flavour bomb on salads
On top of hummus
Adding to nachos or slow cooks
A rub on slow cooked lamb or beef
Jazzing up your eggs-poached, fried, scrambled or frittata
Ingredients: Roasted capsicum, garlic, tomato paste, chipotle, cumin, coriander, caraway, chilli, olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, maple syrup.

Za’atar — My version of the middle eastern spice blend. The ultimate spice blend to season and spice up your cooking.
Perfect to:
Season roast chicken or lamb
Sprinkle over vegetables to roast
Sprinkle over oven fries and crumble with feta
Toast your almonds with a spoonful of this and a lug of olive oil - great snack or salad crunch
Sprinkle on dips and hummus
Add to Tzatziki
Add to your vegetable fritters
